FAQ
Do I need to have musical experience?
Absolutely not! You don't need to be a musician to let music soothe you, right? So why would you need it for this?
What if I absolutely don't want to do anything creative at all?
That's okay too! It's only as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. No one's going to hold your feet to the fire but you may be surprised at the level of openness it can bring out in you.
Do you talk too?
Yes! We can always talk - it is always up to you. This is an open and free space, all my sessions are. My number one priority is that you feel welcome. If that means you do a lot, or a little, it is always your choice.
I am an eligible out-of-network provider for insurances, which generally means you could be reimbursed a percentage of the session fee you paid up front. I can provide a receipt of services after sessions that you can submit to your insurance provider. I am happy to provide you with additional information about how this could work for you.
Although utilizing insurance can sometimes be more affordable up front, it often comes with limitations that can impact your care and treatment. For example, benefits through many insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to be eligible for care and determine how long, how often and when we can meet. I believe your care and treatment should be just that, yours.
